Born in 1966 in Kokand. In the family of artist Robert Avakyan and Zarina Avakyan.
At the age of 16 she has finished an 8-year school in Tashkent, and at the same time the children art studio under the head of Y.L. Frumgarts.
In 1988 in she passed the exams to the Republican Art College named after P.P. Ben'kov on to the Ceramics faculty in Tashkent.
In 1987 graduated Republican Art College.
After graduating the RAC she was suggested to work as ceramist artist in Tashkent Applied Arts Experimental Factory.
From 1988-1990 she taught drawing in children Art Studio.
In 1990 she passed the exams on Design Faculty in to the Saint-Petersburg Academy of Design and Applied Arts named after baron fon Shtiglic (former Leningrad High College of Arts and Crafts named after V.Muhina). During the education she took part in different design competitions.
In 1995 she took part in International Concept Architecture Design Competition in London.
In 1996 she had graduated the Academy. Her Diploma work were "Project "OASIS" bringing Nature in to the city"
The same year she came back to Tashkent.
In 1997 - 1998 participated in project for a new Tashkent City Zoo.
In 1997 - 1998 worked for Tashkent Mayor's Office at the studio "Ijodiet".
From 1999 a freelance artist.
From 2002 a member of Artist's Union of Uzbekistan.

Anush Avakyan's works are in private collections in such countries as: Uzbekistan, Germany, USA, Czech Republic, France, Russia, Switzerland, Armenia and Kazakhstan.
